Course description

Our Adobe Photoshop – Creative Essentials course shows users who are new to Photoshop the techniques required to manipulate existing images and create new images.

Adobe Photoshop is the most popular image manipulation software in the world for a reason – it is a powerful creative tool that can used to create and edit photos or other images to a professional standard.

We show you all the basic features and techniques you need to be aware of in order to start producing and manipulating your own images – from amending an image to adding layers, text and filters.

Is it right for me?

If you’re completely new to Photoshop, or you simply want to refresh your existing knowledge, this introductory Photoshop course will enable you to start using this software for your own creative projects.

What will I get out of it?

By the end of the course you will be able to:

  • Manipulate images using a variety of selection methods
  • Use practical keyboard shortcuts to work more efficiently
  • Create new images from existing image sources
  • Use non-destructive layers to edit images
  • Work with text

Having completed a few IT courses with different providers over the years - I prefer Thales and will hopefully be able to return again as and when further training is required.
