Before joining TLD, I worked as a job coach for the Welfare to Work scheme, helping unemployed people get back into work through coaching, motivation, and building up their confidence and skills. We assisted them with things like presenting themselves better and writing a more effective CV.
I work with our internal Thales customers, as well as some external customers, booking people onto training courses and dealing with any ad-hoc queries that might come in from day to day.
The role requires a lot of attention to detail, and it’s important to be able to build relationships with everyone from customer and suppliers, to trainers and delegates.
What I like about working for TLD
This is the friendliest place I’ve ever worked, and I could tell that within the first few days. Everyone is extremely helpful and supportive, and really enthusiastic about what they do. If you want to learn something or develop in a certain area it’s the perfect place to be.
I enjoy cooking – taking it in turns to host dinner parties with friends, and I’m also into a bit of gardening and DIY.
