My career started in retail, working as a manager for Monsoon in their busy Gatwick Airport branch. As you can imagine, the role required a high level of customer service and the ability to work well under pressure, which gave me a really good grounding for my current position.
Before joining TLD, I also worked in NVQ assessment, testing people on a range of subjects relevant to their qualification.
As a learning & development advisor, my job is to look after our customers’ needs, making sure they have all the information they need to get the best out of their training programme.
I also engage with the relevant trainers, making sure they have everything they need in order to deliver high-standard training that fits the customer’s needs.
What I like about working for TLD
The people here make it a brilliant place to work, but I also love dealing with our external customers and building great relationships with them.
There is so much variety here, too – every customer has a different way of doing things so there’s always something new to learn.
I go to the gym regularly. I also like going to the cinema, and catching up with friends – preferably over some good food!
