I’ve spent the last 12 years in various roles within the people development sphere, working with the public and private sector, helping them to maximise the potential of their workforce. I’ve worked with some well-known international household names developing assessment centres, employee development strategies and competency frameworks, amongst many other things. Thanks to my varied background I have experience in the whole employee lifecycle, so I have been able to support businesses in every stage of their employee development, finding new and innovative ways to get the most from employees and the business as a whole.
I recently joined TLD as an L&D consultant; tasked with supporting customers in clarifying and defining their goals and vision for the company, I help them decide on the right approach to help them make their vision a reality. This is one of the things I enjoy most; helping businesses diagnose the unseen learning and development requirements of their staff, and supporting them in finding the most effective ways to create a truly engaged and high achieving workforce. To do this I know it’s important that I spend time listening to our customers and fully understanding what it is they are seeking to achieve, so I am fortunate to be able to spend a lot of time meeting with heads of L&D and HR to explore these issues and collaboratively create the best possible solution.
What I love about working at TLD
“I love the nurturing culture, I really felt at home after only a couple of days. There’s a real feel of trust and collaboration between everyone here and that support really makes me want to push myself and achieve more.”
Outside of work I’m a real petrol-head; in my spare time I attend events and shows with my Alfa Romeo as often as I can. I’m also a bit of a film buff and try and get to the cinema whenever I can, and another passion of mine is travel. I love being able to see new places and experience different cultures.
