Course description

Successful project management requires effective planning. For those who need to create and manage detailed plans, Primavera P6 can be an effective tool for the job and is fast becoming the industry standard.

We show you all the tools and techniques you need to be aware of in order to utilise Primavera P6 for planning projects – including detailed activity and resource planning.  We also include a full case study to help embed the learning gained throughout the course.

Is it right for me?

Our Primavera For Practitioners course is an intensive two day course aimed at experienced planners and project controllers who need to use Primavera to create and manage detailed plans.  It includes creating EPS levels, projects, WBS levels and detailed activity and resource planning.

Experience of project planning and scheduling techniques is essential.  For those new to planning and scheduling we would recommend attending our Project Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring and Control course prior to attending this course or to attend our Introduction to Planning and Control using Primavera P6 instead.
